How to use Hitseeker ?
Fill the input fill with your keywords (use the "quote sign" and the + for additive search)
Click on your favorite search engine Icon
Correct your input field if nescessary or try other buttons
You can also select the presentation form (full, frames, seekwin)
Bookmark the page and fell free to use it again (or set it as the HOME) ...or register for a waitingless plug'in
Search tips
Be specific
Use specific words as opposed to general ones. For example, a search for "Lamborghini" will return more targeted results than a search for "sports cars."
Use more than one word
Search for ideas and concepts, in addition to keywords, and enter more than one keyword in your search query. Excite uses Intelligent Concept Extraction (ICE) to find relationships that exist between words and ideas, so the results will contain words related to the concepts for which you're searching.
Check your syntax.
Make sure to use the correct spelling.
Use the correct case (uppercase for proper names, lowercase for common words and phrases).
Use a comma to separate capitalized names or phrases.
For example: Bill Clinton, Boris Yeltsin
Try synonyms and variations of words.
For example: CDROM, CD-ROM

Altavista is good, when you are looking for a specific page,
for instance, a litle company website or someone or any document that contains
a phrase (see options)
Yahoo is the one, when you are looking informations on a general category
(ie: java programming course)
Hotbot is said to have great results in both methods
French Search engines if you are looking for french terms
