2000.oct : Skewl all done : and then i moved for new job at INRIA in Rennes (west of france).
2000.march : training period : Virtual Réality through the www
1999.sept : last year of unniv
1999.july : vacations in corsica, (warez camping, hitchiking ...)
1999.feb : Myl serv over , back to studies (computer generated graphics)
1997.sept : I decided to get rip of ...my stupid military service and make a break in my student life, Actually not a real break ...because i was following my 4rd year of unniversity (Computers Science) at the same time...
You may ask your self : is it cool to hold real weapon ? , does mud stink ? , are soldiers good friends ? ... Well i can't tell you because... i choosed to be an "objecteur de conscience" ... well you can translate this as someone against war generaly
What does the job consists of ?
I was working in a enginnering school doing misc net stuff.
In other words : warez'ing mp3'ing and java'ing linux'ing all day during 17 months.
1997.aug : new GF ...hum ... private.
1997.sept : University 3rd year Validated ... , a video game out

Internet Expert :

The Job I intend to do. Making web services is the kind of job i like to do...
"Web Engeniering" isn't taught at university. And i don't expect to be a "ms front pager", yeah i am experimenting some online services since Mosaic's ages (~ 1994 ). And I need associates partenerships for a side job online.
One last year in unniversity, and then I think it will be great for me if i can find a job in USA, for 1 year or more (then i will improve my english).
I am working a lot to improve my skills.

COMPUTING :

I don't think it has begin with our TO7-70 (french buggy cpu). But with my Amiga 500 ... the only machine which bring Creativity, Fun, Quality.

Around December 94 I put some bytes (instead of steps) on the net ... Was it a revelation ? Dunno :-)
Then on Halloween 95 (October,31 1995) here is an important point : White Zombie : Zombie LAnd II (PsYchOLiC CiRCuS) Ok let me explain ...it's my 1st homepage ... WZ taught me HTML (Also I'd like to thank Kyle Bacon of Fibernet for all) and thank to this page I interest a lot into the web.
In March+April '96 in a cyber café w/ friends. Then I developed a more serious web site for an hi-tech Exhibition in Toulouse, France (FAUST)
Since this day I've realized that I've tried all facets of computers and I think web designing is my favorite one. Something 50% Technical 50% Artistical 100% Cool. So I hope I can do this for some next years.
Now I am still doing netstuff and some shareware programming on linux and windows but i really prefer the unix and internet world than MF MS, #%* !!!

Did i mention that i am still a student ? yea i am on my 5th year at unniversity learning computers science and specialised into "computer generated graphics programming".

My configs are :

PC :
- Hardware : PC ( CPU=Intel P120, RAM=48Mb, HD=3.5G+1.1G )
- OS : Linux , Distrib: Debian 2.2 w/ Kernel v2.2.5 (used to be on redhat then suse)
2 Amiga's 500+ + GVP A530 (60030+hd)

WATCH MY MIND : THERE IS NO REASON TO BE SCARED

Yeah, some people may think that I am a weirdo satanic druggy punk or something like that ... well my way of life is more "straight edge" than anything ...
I have no politics attachments, I am not into *ANY* religion (even if i claim to be the antichrist when the jeova's ring my door) ; I don't smoke weed, tabaco neither ; I am *never* drunk ; I don't eat all day...
BUT yes I wear funny TShirts and I don't look like the stereotype of a computer science student, yes I listen to "special" Music with "strong attitude bands" (to say the least) ... and Yes I like what can be classified as "sub-culture".
Here is what I like (or at least some stuff which don't put me on my nerves) :

Cinema :: Movies are cool and faster to read than books, but most of them are just a waste of time. To conclude : I like to take trip in movies my favorite genres are : Road movies, Thrillers, Horror comics stuff (well things that became funny in '90s but weren't in the 40s,50s,60s), Sci-Fi (1982 Blade runner) ...
Literature :: Euh that's the worse point hehehehe, I am a very sssssslllllow reader (for instance Stephen King's IT took me 1 year and half) but there is some books I can read in few minutes ...what are they ? comics books : mainly humor (belgium scene, Calvin & Hobbes ...) but I like decadent stories (Enki Bilal's trilogy, The Crow...) too
People / Friends :: Blah blah blah, but on the other side there are cool persons who are funny, interesting, honest, and that's cool (You know who/what you are).
Traveling :: I don't claim to be a globe trotter (cuz I Live in TOURNEFEUILLE for now 20 years) but I've visited Western Europe, Canada (Alberta) with my parents when I was a kid, teen. And summer 1996 I spent (only) a week in California...great trip!
I like to travel by walk with a bag on the back, air in the brain and liberty in the mind on summer i went to Corsica (litle french island in the mediteranean sea) w/ my gf we slepped on beaches. and moving by hitchicking.
But I am yet not afraid of leaving France for working in USA or other places in this earth where english is spoken (UK, Australia, or Cyberspace) I think I need a big change pretty soon
