Artwork the artwork for the album was edited soon after its release due to copyright infringements. [{The edited version has black star-shapes over the Masked Riders' faces in the Blur the Technicolor artwork, and the 3M logo is not present on the front cover.

  Then if you play the intro organ part backwards, you get quiet the same thing (its the same forwards & backwards)

It was filmed at three places: California (Oct. 28, 1995), Las Vegas (Halloween 1995), and Detroit (time unsure).
[ If you blink, you'll miss it but there is a quick shot of Alice onstage with White Zombie in their latest video which I believe is called "Super Chargers Heaven". --Renfield, March 1996 ]

  Those are some of the words they chant in an exorcism
  But where is it sampled from ?
• [2:43]"It is not heresy, I will not recant" is from some Martin Luther video : "The Life and Time of Martin Luther" (Hey, maybe church is good for something after all!!!).
  Also I've been told about "Child of Satan (starring Nasdaja Kinski)" .

Misc:

This song is also on "Judge dread" soundtrack (A Danny Cannon movie w/ S.Stalone) and a few seconds in the movie itself.

  Intro samples came from an interview of one of the Charles Manson "family" women . Taken from a Prime Time Live interview with Diane Sawyer in 1994 :
  • When she says " Yeah, I remember her saying, I'm already dead." she's talking about Sharon Tate's last words as this lady is killing her.
  • "Well today I have the courage to stand up and hold your hands in some stupid symbol. .. You're gonna get up and scream... You're gonna get up and burn an X in your head." : she was talking about the things Charles Manson asked them to do on his trial. It is a sign of being marked "x"ed out from society basically.

    Rob said that it was from that "Manson nonsense", that in an interview he had seen with one of the manson girls they were talking about cutting through the pone wires at the Tate house.

    "Who Will Survive and what will be left of them?" Is a tag line that originally appeared on posters for the movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".

    You could also draw many similarities between RS#9 and the Manson way of thinking, but you could do that with anything. I think one of the cooler things is the similarity between the question "Who will survive and what will be left of them?" and the whole Helter Skelter race war idea.

    "Apocaliptic dreams meet the ordinary madness" I think that's another reference to the war. I think that "24 hours of the psychoholic madness" is a reference to acid trips the Charles as well as some of his followers took. Charles actually remained in control during these trips (Usually you feel out of control when your on acid , so I hear of course).

    J. lennon's song "Revolution 9" refers to Chapiter 9 of St Jean's Apocalypse.

    It has been say in Guitar Player Magazine that Rob used a $10 pair of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Walkie Talkie to distrod his voice

• Info This song might be inspirated from the cult sci-fi movie : BLADE RUNER. MHTH is a slogant for the replicants company.
  Also Nexus 1 might be the 1st generation of replicants ... (after all Rob Can be the 1st replicant in this end of century)

  I have heard that Adam Sandler (the commedian) joined Rob for MHTH on stage on the AstroCreep tour.
