INTERVIEWS

LP : You said you liked kinda working with the more independent or non-mainstream directors. How did working with Tarantino differ than working with Zombie?
SH: Not a whole lot. All 3 of the guys I mentioned - Jack Hill first, because I have done like ten pictures for him, Quentin, and Rob - work on the basis of giving you their vision for what it is they want and leaving you alone to do your job, instead of pressuring you and trying to be the puppet master.

LP: To change gears a little, not only did we see you in Rob Zombie's movie and Jack Hill's classics, but also see you in Zombie's music videos. Are you a fan of metal music?
SH: Some. I am a fan of his. Not because I know him, but because he has a really tight, tight sound. Its not a bunch of sloppy crap, people just screaming and doing who the hell knows what. His music is just like his films, his films just like his music, he takes care of what it is that he does. No part of anything that he is involved with goes by without his OK. Sorta his way or the highway.

RAMONES TRIBUTE

February 11th is the realase date for the long anticipated Ramones tribute album "We're a Happy Family" . To mark the day Rob Zombie and Johnny Ramone will be doing an in-store appearence at Tower Records on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, CA. They will be signing copies of the album starting at 7PM. There will also be street team members there giving away free House of 1000 Corpses promotional stuff, so make sure to come down.

On the same day at noon Rob and Johnny will also be guests on 106.7 KROQ's flashback lunch....so tune in.
